Props and Products FAQ's 

  • Yes, our prop house is based on Exmouth Market in Islington. 

    We are open 7 days a week…

    For bigger items please give us a heads up so that we can have them ready for you to view.

  • Our standard method is collection from our prop house on Exmouth Market. If you would like us to arrange delivery then please get in touch and we can provide a quote and payment link for this.

  • We charge a minimum hire fee which covers hire for up to 4 days, regardless of if you hire for the full 4 days or less. If you’d like to hire for longer than 4 days there is no cap on this, we just charge an additional 20% per day on top of the standard hire fee. This is all transparently shown when you select your dates and product on the website and go to check out.

  • All of our hire costs are charged up front but we do however charge a security deposit. An pre authorisation is taken on your payment card for the total security deposit of each item. This is highlighted at checkout. 

  • Each item has its own security deposit based on its value etc. The security deposit will be pre authorised on your payment card approximately 1-2 days before your collection/delivery date. The authorisation lasts for 7 days until it is automatically released. We reserve the right to rerun the authorisation if your hire period extends beyond these days. 


    If you fail to return an item or return it with damages then the appropriate security deposit will be captured from the pre authorised payment.

  • Payment can be made by invoice, credit card online, in store or over the phone. We also accept American Express. If you would like an itemised invoice and a payment link then we can also provide this.

  • Set up is not included as all of our items are designed to have a simple set up process. But if you’d like to add an extra special, stress free touch to your event then please enquire about one of our stylists via [email protected] .

  • Yes, please email [email protected] and we can organise an appointment with one of our knowledgeable team to help advise.

  • No need to wash anything, we will take care of this so you have more time to relax after your event. If we have provided flowers alongside your hired items then feel free to return with the flowers in or keep the flowers to enjoy them for longer! If you have used our hired items for flowers NOT provided by us then kindly remove the flowers before returning the items, otherwise a fee will be charged.

  • Some of our larger or bespoke items are stocked in lower quantities so can be booked up quite quickly. Please contact us via [email protected] if your desired item is out of stock and we can look into sourcing another or offering an alternative.

  • We do not charge for cancellations however no refunds are issued if the cancellation occurs less than a month before your selected hire date.

  • No, flowers are not included but we would love to fill our hired vessels for your special event.

Event Space FAQ's

  • There is very good even lighting in the space. 2 of the walls have very large windows, the windows are frosted so that the light is even and well diffused into the room

  • You can hear the background noise of Exmouth Market (eg bustling street with Bars and Restaurants). This gives the room a really nice ambience for an event.

  • You can load in from Exmouth Market, there are loading bays on Exmouth Market to park for half an hour. You cannot drive down Exmouth Market to load between 12 midday and 2.30pm Monday - Saturday. But you can drive down outside of these times. The entrance to the building is down the passage from Exmouth Market towards Spa Fields Park. It is on the first floor.

  • There are many power sockets around the room. The circuit breaker is in a private flat within the building so there is not access to this.

  • It is possible for most of the existing furniture to be removed from the room for an additional fee.

  • Our recommended capacity for workshops and meetings is up to 35 people in the Conservatory and 14 in the Garden room.
